The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serve to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character (and Citizenship for NJHS). These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since their beginnings in 1929. The Schimelpfenig 2004-2005 members will be the best ever!

NJHS - Mayor Pat Evans NEEDS OUR HELP!!!!!!
The Honorable Mayor Pat Evans and Schimelpfenig's NJHS have "teamed up" to help promote the City of Plano. This help will be in the form of a "letter writing campaign". This campaign is designed to get to know our fellow students in our sister city, Hsinchu, Taiwan. Hopefully they'll write us back!
On Monday, October 11, we are writing letters for our sister city in Taiwan, Hsinchu. On Tuesday, during our meeting, we will address them and get them ready to be taken to Mayor Evans. On Wednesday, Oct 13, we will be delivering them to City Council, so be sure to check back to see how succesful our Campaign was!
